Design And Comfort

When it comes to design part Hesh 2 looks comfortable, but they really not that comfortable. The headband was built with durable plastic, this plastic construction follows to cushioning also. The cushioning feels decent but we can fell the sweat on our ears after some time. It comes with three physical buttons which can be used for various purposes, like changing the track, adjusting the volume and finally a power button. Overly the build quality is not that great it feels plastic but you can be satisfied with the price you are paying.

Features

When it comes to features we must talk about the battery backup first because there are fewer headphones which provide 15 Hours of music playback time in this price range also 3.5mm AUX connectivity got your back when you are out of power. However, 15 Hours is what company mentioned but we can get nearly 10-12 Hours of playback time. Apart from the battery backup it also packs a 50mm driver unit which is less seen in this budget.

Connectivity

If you what to pair a Bluetooth device to Hesh 2 turn it on with the power button and press it till it glows in Red and Blue now it will be on connectivity mode and now select the headset on the device you want to connect. If you lost the battery you can connect by using an AUX cable provided with the box. Skull Candy Hesh 2 can be connected to any Bluetooth enabled device very easily and connection range is also good if you don’t have Bluetooth enabled device you can connect it through AUX cable.

Sound Quality

You must know about the sound quality of the headset before you are going to buy it. The 50mm driver unit sounds good on paper but when it comes to sound quality it has its ups and downs. When you hear it for the first time you will be greeted with bass and you will enjoy lows very well. If you pump it up to the higher volumes you cannot get that much of distortion. The treble and vocals are softened and sound not that great. We can accept the sound quality because we are not paying any premium price to it.

Noise isolation

Hesh 2 it doesn’t come with built-in noise-canceling we can hear lots of ambient noise while listening to the music.

During calls also mic doesn’t perform well it always pics the outside noise and the user at the other end barely hear our voice.

Pros

  • Aggressively Priced
  • Good build quality
  • Durable headband
  • Excellent Battery life
  • AUX connectivity

Cons

  • Poor Call quality
  • No Noise canceling
  • Vocals should have been better

Verdict To Skullcandy Hesh 2 Review:

These are priced at where we can get some entry-level wired headphones from well-known brands. For the price, you will get good headsets with some hits and misses. Sound quality is far from most of the headsets in this price range. We won’t say that these are bang for the buck but we will say that these are definitely a good buy for this price range.
